Ashwagandha can help support restful sleep but the way ashwagandha works is by directly promoting the stage of energy you’re in, which is referred to the circadian rhythm.  In the morning, this rhythm is energized so ashwagandha will support that and provide you with energy.  In the evening that rhythm is more relaxed and getting ready to rest and likewise ashwagandha will promote restfulness.
